Bunbury’s reputation as a friendly place is no secret, and it is a friendliness that extends to even our four-legged family members.

With plenty of options to walk your beloved pooch off or on lead throughout the City, it is also no longer possible to count the range of hospitality venues offering dog-friendly locations on one paw.

From enjoying your morning coffee at one of Bunbury’s alfresco dining hotspots to sipping delightful cocktails into the evening at a trendy beer garden, there’s no reason to leave your best mate at home.

Some of Bunbury’s most popular CBD cafes welcome dogs at their pooch-friendly areas, including Caf-fez Bunbury, La Pause Miam, Melo Velo, Benesse Bunbury and Corners on the Bay.

Outside the CBD at the City’s more urban coffee spots The Happy Wife, Coffee & Flour and Corners on King are among those that cater for a breakfast or lunch date with the pooch.

Many offer water bowls and some even offer dog treats, proving that our furry friends are valued and welcome customers too.

A recent collaboration between funky coffee shop The Townhouse and trendy bar Lost Bills has seen the joint backyard of the two popular CBD venues become a haven for caffeine, cocktail, and dog lovers.

Visitors can enjoy a tasty breakfast, late lunch or evening tipple in an uber-stylish space, all in the company of their furry companions.

This is all alongside a host of other hospitality haunts across Bunbury that have a dog-friendly focus including favourites such as The Hollow Beach Bar, Yours or Mine, Parade Hotel, Mash Brewing and Waters Edge Café & Restaurant.

For those who want to walk off all that indulging, there is a number of approved dog exercise areas across the City including sections at Bunbury’s popular Back and BP beaches.

There is also a raft of neighbourhood parks and open space areas which allow dogs off lead.
