✨ Another long weekend for you to get out and about in Bunbury!

Happening on Saturday is @bunburyparkrun at the Big Swamp wetlands at 8am.

Produce in the Park takes place at Queens Gardens from 8am to 12pm – pick up some local produce including delicious honey, moorish donuts, coffee, animal treats and free range eggs.

Head to the Bunbury Trotting Club from 5pm for live harness racing – with family-friendly entertainment, food and refreshments.

The Bunbury Tri Club last race of the season kicks off on Sunday morning at Koombana Bay from 7am to 11am. Cheer on the athletes as they swim, run and bike their way around the local course.

Pick up a unique treasure at the @stirlingstreetarts markets on Sunday from 9am to 12pm. The markets are held on the last Sunday of each month.

Monday is Anzac Day and there will be a dawn and morning service held in Bunbury at the war memorial at Anzac Park. Please register your attendance for free via Eventbrite ✨

Calling all event organisers – applications are now being accepted for the 2022 Grant Program.

This year we have revamped our grants program to shine a light on more community-led initiatives and local storytelling celebrating Bunbury.

If your event or project could do with a cash injection we encourage you to apply.

The 2022 Grant Program categories are:

✨ Signature Events – promoting Bunbury as a thriving and premier destination for signature events, driving visitation to Bunbury and time spent in the region
✨ Bunbury Brighter – celebrating Bunbury, sharing local stories and its connection with culture and history, and showcasing the City’s natural beauty
✨ Achievement – supporting members of the community who exemplify excellence to proudly represent and promote Bunbury positively

Good Friday Speedway action is on this evening at Bunbury Speedway. Hop on down from 4pm.

Get active before devouring your weight’s worth in mini eggs with @BunburyParkrun on Saturday morning from 8am at the Big Swamp Wetlands.

Peruse the market stalls at @thebunburymarkets from 8am at Queens Gardens and pick up an extra Easter treat or two.

@dinneratdusk returns to the Koombana Foreshore on Saturday night from 3pm to 8.30pm.
There will be plenty of food trucks on offer as well entertainment.

After the obligatory chocolate binge get the kids out of the house on Sunday and head down to the Forrest Park Railway for its Easter Sunday Run Day.
